Unbelievably HUGE retro toy store. They do it big in Texas and this place takes the cake. I spent hours in here. Super accomadating staff that answered all my questions, helped me search for things, and talked toys. Enormous selection, quantities, and variety. Kind and cool people that make you feel welcomed.

This place seriously has everything… vintage toys, action figures, dolls, collectibles, and their Godzilla selection is massive. You could spend a good amount of time in here just looking around.
Only heads up: parking is a bit tight and the lot can get hectic, so I’d recommend street parking if you can.
Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to!

The staff here are so wonderful! My son had some Godzilla figures he wanted to trade in and they gave him a great amount for them in store credit and he was thrilled to get a sweet helmet with it. They were very kind and patient with us and are passionate about their job. I wish I could remember the name of the employee behind the trade in counter but he was great! The store has an amazing selection of everything you can think of. My son cannot wait to go back!

I've stopped by Misfit Toys a few times recently and it's been a fantastic experience every time. I've more recently been getting into collecting vintage toys and not only is there a tremendous variety of action figure lines dating back 45+ years, but the quality of the items are top notch and truly for collectors. You will see some amazing gems from some of the best toy lines of your childhood. It's quite the nostalgia trip!
The store is very well organized by toy line and the staff have all been very friendly and helpful. You can tell that they are collectors at heart as well. I have seen Misfit Toys at local conventions in the past and the same quality of products and customer service carries over between shows and their store.
This is now one of my top-rated go-to stores in Houston because you'll constantly see new products and I know the condition of their products will be good! We're very lucky to have some truly amazing toy shops that specialize in vintage collecting and it's great seeing passionate collectors opening businesses that support a hobby full of fun, preservation, and nostalgia.

They have the biggest Transformers collection I've ever seen. Figures from pretty much every era from G1 to current. Loose figures and boxed. They even have Masterpiece and 3rd party. They told me they're regularly bringing in more product, too. Definitely will be back.

I love these guys. Danny is one of the friendliest and most generous people you could want running a store like this. The gf and I have been here a couple times before, and each time we come out with something new lol. Always stocked, always organized, and now that they've expanded their floor space its even better than before. Highly recommend going here if you're looking for older figures from the 80's - early 2010's, you're bound to walk out with a good find at a good price.

Best toy store I’ve ever been in. It will take you right back to your childhood. They literally have everything. And I was surprised at the prices. Very fair and reasonable. You will find something here if you go check it out.

Out of all of my trips to action figure stores THIS is the place to go! I went to grab some Transformers figures while I was on a road trip but they to have Star Wars, Doctor Who, G.I. Joe, Masters of the universe and more! The only issue atleast with the Transformers figures is if your planning to buy more than one be ready to spend quite a bit, which isn't awful because the prices are similar to those online, some are more expensive, but if you look hard enough you can find some cheap deals. I would say something like "There's no __ figures" but alot of what they're selling is franchises from the 80s and you know what? Respect for sticking to a category. If I had one of these locations close to home I may become one of their favorite customers.

I absolutely love this gem of a spot. It's like a store filled with your childhood. Transformers and Star Wars toys galore. Also, they have very competitive prices. I've shopped here before purchasing a drop ship from the Aliens film and the Dinobot Slag in the past. However, today I was finally able to get my hands on Jetfire! Thanks guys, and when I'm financially blessed, I'm coming back for Unicron!

Amazing place!! I've never seen so many Transformers in 1 place. Decent prices, too. They were very kind and we didn't feel rushed or pressured to buy anything. Got a Michael Bay version Ironhide and Brawl for $25 each. Great condition, no missing or stressed pieces.

Misfit Toys exceeds our expectations every time we visit. They have an unbelievable selection of action figures at incredible prices, and the staff always goes above and beyond to make sure my son has the best experience possible every time we visit. They clearly love what they do, and that shines through in the way they treat their customers. This place makes kids feel like they’ve just walked into Heaven, and makes adults feel like a kid again. I will say that Misfit Toys has really upped the game when it comes to collecting collectibles. This is my 2nd visit, once before a year ago. And I was blown away when I walked in yesterday! I got 3 figure and Cody and the other gentleman were amazing and I plan to visit again soon! Thank again to all the Misfit staff amazing atmosphere keep up!!

Cody and the team here are amazing! Went to the store about a year ago with an old 20% off coupon and they honored it without question. Went in today after the Grand Reopening and was absolutely blown away by how much better the store has become. It almost doubled in size and they are still able to carry almost anything you’re looking for. I highly recommend this store for any Transformers, Marvel, DC, Star Wars, TMNT fans. Lots of retro and modern goodness here and such a stellar team running the show!

I went to their Grand opening an did a vlog for our YouTube channel. It was an awesome experience seeing all that they have to offer. I saw full size character's, Predator courteous of Lone Star Hunters and also Superman posing for pics. They seem to have all of the comic figurines and vintage toys and most comic related items. This was honestly the best retro figure store I've been to, right as I walked in I see a whole bunch of turtle stuff along with others. The prices were pretty good, and the guy at the counter was nice and told me about their grand opening of the next section of the store. Would recommend if you want to recollect vintage things. Will come back again after graduation on may 31st or during their Father's Day sale

Visited a couple months ago and absolutely loved it. I snapped up a bunch of vintage Mighty Morphin Power Rangers stuff, plus a carded 90s Terminator figure and a random assembled old school Lego Bionicle I threw in at the end. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the prices were reasonable. I hate feeling ripped off when it comes to vintage toys, and I would not have purchased so much if I felt the prices were not right.

Second time I visit this store and always worth the drive from Austin tx. Such a great selection! Staff was incredibly friendly, it was so nice hearing them interact with other customers whether they were collectors or new time shoppers. Pricing was great and offered additional discounts. This place is amazing they have me and my sister an amazing deal on my magmatron and a jw fallen kingdom ankylosaurus. They have also sold me multiple figures like earthrise scorponok for very reasonable prices compared to other toy collectors. They are by far one of the best new and vintage toy sellers out there and I highly recommend anyone who’s into figure collecting to stop by and see for themselves how amazing Misfit Toys is.

I went in to sell some vintage toys, and they declined to buy them because they were not up to their standard of excellence. I could not get mad about that. They showed professionalism and integrity. The young man was kind with the way he handled the whole interaction. The store was very nice with lots of good collectibles. Even though I didn't sell anything, they definitely made a new customer out of me. When it's time to buy gifts for my family and friends who loves that kind of stuff, I will know where to shop.

Best spot in Houston for collectors. Walked in there with 15 loose figures (very good condition) and got a 100 dollar store credit. Turned a $130 figure to a $30 figure. People are awesome and they have a giant selection!

This place is amazing! Had my Marvel Legends collections stored in bins for almost 20 years and was looking to sell. Came across Misfit Toys' website and made a call. The owner (Daniel) and I spoke for a bit over the phone, told him what I had and asked me to come down. When I got there, he and his team gave me a very fair assessment of my collection and made me a good offer. As a collector, it felt really good to converse with others who knew exactly what I had in my collection, and his team were experts. This store is a vintage toy collector's dream from their inventory of Transformers, to MOTU, to Anime figures, they have it all. I will definitely be back to sell other pieces of my collection and add to to my collection from his well stocked inventory. Great place, with even greater people working in it.

DO NOT PASS THIS STORE UP. An absolutely insane, never ending selection of toys from the 70's and up. Walking in, I almost teared up at the sheer sight of toys available for purchase. I felt like a kid again seeing all the figures I wanted as a child but could never afford. From G.I. Joe's to Movie Maniacs, to Transformers, everything I could have ever hoped to see again was right there in front of me. A fantastic wave of nostalgia washed over me just from opening the door. The owner and his employees are dedicated to you, from the moment you walk in the door to the moment you step out clutching your treasures that you always wanted as a child. I purchased several items totalling a mere $80. The prices are fair, the customer service is unparalleled. I didn't want to leave. If I had the budget, everything would have come home with me. This is definitely a store you do NOT want to pass up. Stop here at all costs.

Daniel (the owner) is so friendly and gave me a very fair deal when I sold my toys (Star Wars, GI Joe, Hot Wheels, Micro Machines, etc). You can tell he really knows his stuff and his excitement is contagious. In the store, I saw lots of unopened toys as well as loose ones for sale, at all price ranges. Good collection of the classic 80s and 90s toys as well as horror.

I am so glad they did because this place had just what I need, as well as exceptional prices and a friendly staff who helped me find what I needed. Not only is this place a collectors paradise, but has a little bit of everything for everyone depending on your taste. Will be shopping here again.

My husband and I love this place. An impressive selection of toys and memorabilia for any budget. Movie buff, game lover or just a fan of cool things, this is place should definitely be a spot you stop at. The staff is so kind, there’s always new items coming in and it’s so much fun to look their massive inventory. A collector’s paradise!
